About Me

I am Kabir Pokarna. A 17 year old International Baccalaureate student at Aditya Birla World Academy in Mumbai. In the IBDP program I have taken Mathematics AA, Physics, and Economics at a higher level. I am currently in the second year of the diploma program and gearing up for my college applications.

In the summer before, I was a research intern at Force Motors India and Suzlon India. More about these internships can be found below.

Apart from academics, I am the co-founder of 2 student-led organizations. These work on causes that are very close to my heart - social work and sustainability.

The Terra thread is an environmental engineering and sustainability online magazine who’s readerbase is middle and highschool students in international schools in Mumbai. More about the terra thread can be found below.

Spot the Dot is a social work organization of which I am the only male member; working on period awareness and poverty in the slums of Mumbai we have helped 300+ women across the city.

My extracurriculars include a karate black belt, professional robotics and CAD training and the Performing arts. More about my personal extracurriculars can be found below.

Lastly, are my interests. I am a foodie, a traveling enthusiast, and a movie buff. My passion in these aspects condition my interest in various extra curriculars, more recently in the university context.
